Knight Branch |
A recent visit to Tameside Local Studies Library has helped especially this branch of the tree. There is still work to do. This family were exetensively from Denton, Lancashire, though often the people married at Manchester Cathedral
Parish records tell us that Samuel Knight was a butcher, John Platt was a bricklayer. Ann Knight and William Bond are the parents of Mary Bond who married George Bowker Cock in 1835.
